RATES

· Add 6% WV sales & service tax, and 3% county tax to all room rates. The county lodging tax increases to 6% in February 2008 (we're not too pleased about that, either).
· For group bookings, a 20% gratuity is added for buffets and banquets.
· All rooms are outfitted with a queen-sized bed. Upstairs rooms also feature a full-sized sleeping loft. Other options may be available. Ask!
· No discounts apply during the winter holiday season.

POLICIES

Smoking:
The BrazenHead Inn is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any of its guest rooms, pub, dining room or gift shop. Smoking is permitted on the porches.

Anyone who smokes in the guest rooms will be asked to leave promptly, without the benefit of a refund. Groups of rooms are heated with one forced air system, thus if you smoke, your neighbors will be smoking that same cigarette along with you. No one will be happy, and you’ll soon be out of a room. We don’t want that to happen, so just don’t do it! Thank you.

RESERVATIONS

Room Reservations:
Advance room reservations are recommended, especially during ski season (last weekend in November through early March.) To make reservations, call toll free

Walk-ins for rooms are welcome anytime we have rooms available.

Whole or Partial Inn Advance Reservations:
We welcome tour groups and conferences. Our conference room is adjacent to the main building, and can accommodate up to 60 people. Smaller conferences can be accommodated in the dining room. We can host conferences on days we do not normally open for dinner, if reservations are made at least 2 weeks in advance (preferably 30 days). Special meal accommodations and menu entrees can be provided on advance request as well.

For overnight lodging, we can accommodate up to 65 people. We have 20 rooms, 36 beds: 15 queen, 14 full, and 7 twin. During the summer months, we have 20 tent sites available too.

For dining, we can accommodate up to 61 people during the winter months and up to 77 people (including outdoor seating) during the summer months. We have 8 bar seats, 53 indoor table seats, and 16 outdoor table seats.

Arrangements to rent all or multiple-room portions of the inn should be made at least 45 days in advance of the selected dates. The full amount of room rental is due within 14 days of your receipt of confirmation. In some cases, an additional damage deposit may be required 14 days prior to your stay.

Cancellations

A $25 fee is charged for all winter reservations. On your arrival, this entire amount will be credited toward your stay. If you must cancel, try to do so at least 30 days in advance of the reservation date. There will be no refund for cancellations less than 30 days before your arrival, but if you have allowed 31 days or more prior to the cancellation, you will receive a $10 refund to your credit card. The $15 charge is a handling fee.

All cancellations must be made verbally or in writing. Please understand that the inn is stocked in preparation for your party, and other guests may be turned away in order to accommodate you; therefore, last-minute cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for refund.

Rates vary for group reservation cancellations.

Multiple Room Reservations

Take the Upstairs South Six, or Upstairs North Six, and get them all at a 10% group discount, not including WV Sales & Service Tax. Two-night minimum.

Rent the whole inn, all 20 rooms!

... for at least two nights, and take 15% off the total price, not including WV Sales & Service Tax.

Meals: For whole or partial inn reservations, meals can be part of a custom package plan. Ask for specifics when you call.

Lunches, Special Dinners, and Parties: Groups of 12 or more may make reservations for lunch, special dinners, or parties. Menus will be created to suit your party’s needs and desires. A 20% gratuity will be added to the cost, before state tax.
